The nasal passage allows airflow into the lung and is divided into two sides by the nasal septum. A Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS), is pushed to the right or left or the nose might grow abnormally causing nasal airway obstruction and resulting in sinus problems. The infections in the nose and sinuses cause breathing difficulty, decreased sensation of smell, taste and recurrent headaches. Any overgrowth of lining tissue in the nose cause nasal polyps. Decongestant nasal drops and/or sprays & medical management provide short-term relief.
